Dr. Bailey

Dr. Patricia Bailey joined our practice in 2026. She grew up in Bristol, Illinois, and completed her degree of biology at Wartburg College in Iowa. She completed her optometric education at the Illinois College of Optometry in 1997 in Chicago, Illinois, and continued her education with a residency in primary care optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.

She has been practicing optometry over the past thirty years across the state of Florida. She moved to Lake City in 2000 where she met her husband and built her family. She is the proud mother of two beautiful children who are interested in music performance and production. Dr. Bailey enjoys playing piano for her church and helping out with the band program at the local high school. She is a Girl Scout leader and has helped her scouts earn their Gold Award multiple times over the past fourteen years. She enjoys crafting, camping and the outdoors and hopes to finish traveling to all fifty states in the next ten years.

She has a passion for educating patients and providing the most thorough exam. She believes the eyes offer such insight into a person's health and that yearly exams help people live their best lives. She excels in contact lens fitting, glaucoma and diabetic control, and geriatric care.
